logo and trademark design
A logo visually communicates your unique business message. Your trademark represents the personality of your company, association, or corporation. The concept communicated may be straight forward or something that requires some intuition on the part of the viewer.

Regardless
of the message or impression desired, the
design concept must have the visual appeal
to earn a second or third look from your target
audience. This usually is achieved by an abstract
or conceptual approach, rather than a direct
one. Simply put, if your business is an Italian
Restaurant, you would more likely get more
attention with a fork in the colors of an
Italian flag than you will with a photograph
of lasagna.

The concept of "less is more" definitely applies to a logo design. A simple, uncluttered look will be far more appealing than a complicated one. A logo needs to be proportioned so that it remains legible when enlarged for a billboard size or reduced to fit on a business card. It must look clean and legible if it is on a fax sheet or in full color on a busy page.An
effective business logo will generate a "look
and feel" that your general target audience
will be attracted to, and one that your customers
will understand and ultimately respond to.
Logo design is largely based on psychology
mixed with fine art proportion. Only an experienced
designer who has studied your business can
properly render a quality logo, mark or trademark
that will speak of who you are.
Firms that use "logo mills" or "logo creation sites" and settle for design that "looks" like a quality custom-built logo, are often horrified later to learn there are several other companies with logos almost identical to theirs, or worse, the logo generated for them by an on-line program or "logo mill" cannot be trademarked.
Your logo is more than what is shown at the top of your letterhead. Our clients understand that corporate identity is the creation of a brand, a theme, and must be projected through all aspects of your company's marketing and promotional materials. Look at the branding I designed for Sunguard Shade Products on this page, and you will begin to see a "theme" throughout which extends from their product labels, stationary, building signs, installation trucks and beyond.
From business cards, letterhead, packaging, advertising, point of sale and many other applications, this image must have continuity and presence. I have the ability and experience to make that happen for you. Once your image is conceived, it becomes your recognizable identity for the lifetime of your business. Many underestimate the importance of this process and skimp, failing to make the necessary investment that will guarantee future success in brand recognition can make a costly mistake. Make the best first impression with a quality, attention-getting identity created especially for your company.
Allow us to produce a brand that generates excitement with your new customers, and for those that are established, let them see your company in a fresh new light.
